Rated at 500 amps continuous, for large diesel environments. Ignition protected and safe for installation aboard gasoline powered boats.

Make-before-break contact design allows switching between battery banks without power interruption.

Case design allows surface or rear panel mounting.

This is a great switch. The dual circuit design allow me to switch both the engine electrical and the "house" electrical on at the same time and still keep them isolated. In refurbishing my boat, I isolated the house wiring from the engine wiring so I could consume the battery power overnight and not worry about starting the engine in the morning. This switch made that possible. The plus feature allows both to be combined in an extraordinary situation or for charging.

I've worked with similar switches "back in the day" we called them A & B switches" Don't ask what year that was. This switch is robust, has a large amperage capacity, can be mounted several ways, the switch itself is stiff to rotate BUT, I suppose that's a good thing. The only CAVEAT I had was the #2 on the face was #1 on the back side, it just meant I need to route my wires a little different. OR maybe it was made for left handed people. Would I invest in one of these again yes for sure.

Power to troller whether it was on or off. I bypassed the switch and all was fine.i already had a blue seas switch for my main system so I went right back and grabbed this switch for the troller.its heavy duty ..made for flush mount or outside mount.
