Browsing the internet for cool/unique gifts for my nephew led me to this flying ball toy and seeing my nephew and watching him play with this toy makes me satisfied with the purchase. Admittedly there was a slight learning curve, even for adults but fear not the toy is durable... which you will be glad to see since there will be numerous crashing to the wall/floor in store for this toy. The item does require a short charging session to get it ready for play, which leads me to the only issue that I have with the toy... and that would be the short battery life. Having to stop playing at the height of my nephew's excitement to tell him that Uncle must go and charge the ball isn't really becoming of the coolest uncle in the world. However, that isn't really the Toy's fault so i still am giving this toy 5/5-star rating.I Would take the time to get used to the flying pattern of the ball first and try to understand why its flying in such trajectories before handing it off so that you can properly teach your little one how to play most efficiently. Other than that, I would say that this is a MUST have for any parent looking to give their children a special gift that they won't tire of.

I've only had it a few days and I'm still learning, but I have managed to get the thing to return to me a few times so far. Have to get the angle just right. When I master that I can play catch with myself I guess. The lights look cool and the ball is soft so it doesn't damage things; it might if you threw it very hard but I don't. When it lands on the floor it pauses itself until you shake it again. So far the battery charge lasts well. I think kids and teens would love this, at least until the new wore off, and it's rather fascinating for adults. It more than met my expectations.

Very unique toy that all the kids love and very safe even for small children, I would definitely recommend buying one! Pretty easy to learn as well!The only thing I would change is a sturdier material (it's gotten cracked a couple of times, still functions fine, but would be nice to not crack), and longer play time between charges.
