I can keep this rhythm going, making a perfect tortilla every 30 seconds. That speed would be impossible when using the rolling pin. This juicer works great! I use it for tortillas and cakes and it works great. Use some plastic wrap or parchment paper to prevent sticking and easy cleaning. 8 Inches Tortilla Press lovess

I immediately started my next tortilla. When done, the first tortilla is ready to flip. I put the second tortilla on the griddle and started the third one. When it's done, the first tortilla is ready to come out of the griddle and the second tortilla is ready to flip. The third tortilla is on the griddle. 8 Inches Tortilla Press !!!

I've been making new tortillas every week since it arrived, and this is amazing. I put the press right over the burner and found it nice and hot and pressed and cooked the tortillas at the same time, which was pretty quick; It takes a bit of practice to get the rhythms so you don't burn or don't understand them, but once rolling, I can knock out dozens of tortillas in a short time. It works well for both cornbread and flour tortillas. It also has the effect of making pia cakes.

I used a Mexican woman's in vitro guide advice, just to make sure I was doing it right. She used some lard for both. I ordered some highly rated, expensive leaf grease. It has a bit of a flavor of its own but brings out the flavor and texture of both dough and tortillas. Just a few tablespoons for about 16 tortillas. I always do double batches because we kill them pretty quickly! Still no problem with press after 5 or 6 batches. I cook them with the middle oblong burner on a gas stove (mostly on my stove) using a rectangular cast iron flat griddle. Works perfect

There's nothing I don't like about this tortilla press. It takes a bit of practice to use it properly and get an even thickness, but other than that, it's amazing. Well done and authentic. This is great. Be sure to use plastic bags on each side in the direction. But it's built super hard. I like this. I've made cornbread and flour tortillas this way a few times already.

Nothing beats homemade tortillas. Toss the handle to the side. This is the only way to make tortillas. Once you get the hang of it, you can make dozens of tortillas in no time. While taking care of the stove and oven, I can make 40 tortillas in 20 minutes. This press is not good for bread dough due to gluten. The best tool for making bread dough is a laminator or rolling pin.

I've learned, essentially, that I need to eat TWO of these taco-sized burritos to feel full because the 7.5"/7.75"/8" tortilla isn't enough to fill a lot of things. So I ended up eating a lot of tortillas with not much filling - I wanted an extra full-size burrito with more veggies.

I have 8” press. It creates the perfect tortilla in the blink of an eye! I used to use an old Pyrex cake plate, but had to put most of my weight on it to flatten them. It was awkward and quite exhausting by the 6th or so tortilla. This juicer is easy to use, fast and requires no power.

This is my first and only shoot so I have nothing to compare with this one. But I love how sturdy this one is, also easy to clean. This press is sturdy (albeit quite heavy) and pressed my tortillas perfectly. It looks well built. Easy to clean and easy to use. More than just a tortia maker.

I used a pre-cut freezer bag for lining, which is normally too thin. I wash and dry the liners and they last for several batches. The juicer stays clean and doesn't really need washing. I simply dust and lightly coat with olive oil before storing. This newspaper has made my life so much easier! Buy it today, you'll be glad you did!
