Course if the key went where it belongs this would not be necessary. I thought about putting one on my dog to track him if he got out. Don't know that it would work he tends to hide when he hears the beep. If the beep is coming from his collar he may just keep running! He usually doesn't take off anymore anyway and comes right back. Long story short this is easy to set up and works.

In my initial review, I noted that the key finder, which worked great at first, stopped working after 8 months. When I attempted to use it, a red light flashed. Changing the batteries didn't help. There was no warranty, so I threw it out. But Esky customer service saw my negative review, said they stand by their product, and offered to send me a new Key Finder. I was very pleasantly surprised. This one works great -- now. If it stops working in June, I'll update this review. For now, I'm a happy camper.
