Digital Ceiling Projection Alarm Clock

After eight years of nonstop use, it finally stopped working...the projection image (numeral readout) began to fade and it would not project complete numbers. The one we just purchased is far superior (functionally). It was not difficult to set, the projection (on our ceiling) it is sharp, clear, and is not disturbingly bright. The brightness is absolutely perfect. Though we just recently purchased it, this clock appears to be "solid." I anticipate it lasting longer than our old one. I will buy additional units for our grandchildren in college.

This is probably one of my favorite purchases! My eyes are so bad and I can't see anything. There's nothing worse than waking up in the middle of night and not being able to see the clock to see what time it is - and if I move to check my phone or get up to look at the clock my dogs wake up and then now the whole house is awake. With this product the projection is so large that I'm able to see the time on my ceiling when I wake up. The light is pretty bright though so if somebody is a light sleeper and light bothers them then this might not be the product for them, but it works so well for me!

My 10 yrs old is bilaterally deaf. I felt really defeated looking for alarm clocks and finding so many that said they were for deaf but just made a really loud sound....uhhhh, not sure you know what deaf means. Anyway I found this one and was still slightly leery but he got it for his 10s birthday and hes woken by himself every morning since! The vibration is so strong we can hear it vibrating outside of his room and he LOVES that it shines the time into the ceiling. This has definitely been one of my better purchases and it's so reasonably priced too. Highly recommend if you're looking to give a deaf kiddo a little more independence without breaking the bank

I fell in love with projection clocks 15 years ago and was bummed when mine stopped working AND they stopped selling them at stores. I've purchased several clocks on Amazon with most being somewhat cryptic to setup and not very appealing visually. The clocks from Mesqool, however, are cheaper in price but superior in design and "ease of use". They do exactly what I want and need. My parents are in their 80s and really appreciate these clocks for all of those reasons (I've given them one as a gift). And who doesn't like just being able to look at the ceiling to see the time when you're waking up? No need to have to look over any "lump" sleeping next to you...:)

When I first opened the box, I thought, wow, this feels a little lightweight and cheap - is it going to hold up? But it is fine and does exactly what I need it to do, which is to project the time on the ceiling. The levels of brightness on the actual display are nice, but when it says three levels, one of those is completely "off", so I'd say it has two levels and off. I am blind without my contact lenses, so being able to see what time it is without raising up out of the bed and looking over at my husband's side and squinting has been wonderful. Also, if I have to do that my dog thinks it's time to get up, so it has really solved two problems. Numbers projected on ceiling are large enough to see and don't keep me awake.

This product has a large display with very pleasant looking cool-blue colored LEDs for the digits. The projection feature provides a clean display on the wall or the ceiling even with a semi-dark room lighting. The focus for the wall projection component is adjustable to improve clarity of the projection depending on the target wall distance. It was easy to focus on my 3 meters high ceiling and the direction of the projected digits facing could be easily switched with a click of a button. The Alarm was easy to setup and the volume levels are more than adequate and adjustable. The best feature of this digital clock is the Shaker which gives out a very powerful vibration that sounds somewhat like a buzzing heart beat and could be used instead of the Alarm sounds good to help wake up the deepest of sleepers.

I was nervous to buy this because I know a lot of these are of poor quality, plus I did see some mixed reviews, but it turns out this clock is great. The display is big, clear, and super easy to set the time. The range of brightness is very large, meaning you can set it to be so dark that you can barely see it in the dark, or so bright that it can be seen in bright light. The projection is clear and very easy to direct. I know some mentioned that it’s upside down, but if you read the instructions, there is a button right on top that lets you flip the projection upside down if the viewing spot you want requires it. I also saw some reviews say that the projection is blurry. Mine is perfectly clear, projected straight up onto a standard ceiling from my nightstand. It stays clear even at a slight angle, and while I didn’t try a big angle, it does have a focus ring that is supposed to help if you’re projecting it at an odd angle. The projection is red, and is dim, allowing you to keep night vision. It’s dim enough that it isn’t at all visible with lights on, but completely visible in the dark, and visible enough with ambient light like a TV and nightlight.

I'm married to a light sleeper, wanted ceiling projection so I didn't have to roll over to see time when not facing the clock (even the rollover can wake her). I originally bought a previous model of the Mesqool projection clock (with red #s), and that worked well but the radio feature was sometimes hard to turn off (when alarm went off). Got this new version which has no radio feature (which is good, not needed), and wanted to try the bed shaker alarm to see if it wouldn't wake my wife up. Verdict: vibration has one setting, so you'll have to experiment where it goes. I ended up putting it between the boxspring and mattress further down the bed (nice long cord allowing you to do so). That worked pretty well - better than a sound alarm. Really depends on how light a sleeper you're with. Also, love the new dimming feature, the lowest setting is perfect since I don't want to look at a bright light in the middle of the night (wakes me up when I need to fall back asleep). Also like new blue projection color - again, cooler colors for falling back asleep. Nice improvements all around, only thing I'd say is next version should include vibration settings if possible. Overall though, great product!

I received 2 similar packages from Amazon: I had clothing, the second had this clock radio. The clothing, no problem! The radio’s plastic bag allow major crushing to the radio’s factory packaging. The radio survived and works WONDERFUL, not even a scratch! Great quality material in the radio! Good instruction also.

I love this clock. The projection is clear and easy to read. The numbers are big and clear. The dual alarm feature is great. There is a dimmer and off button for the display. The projection has a swivel feature which really comes in handy to be able to move where the display is. The alarm is loud but not scare you to death loud. Would purchase again.
