I liked using the mold better than the rolling pin. I think it takes the same amount of time or faster than rolling and cutting since you can pre mold the next batch while the first one bakes in 8 minutes. I can see my kids telling their friend about mom's pinecone cookies and their mom's wondering what in the world I bake my kiddos, lol!
